What is Hypnotherapy ?

The techniques and principles of hypnosis were known and have been used to benefit mankind throughout many societies and cultures for many centuries to the present time. Hypnosis is an effective methodology that allows easy access  to the subconscious mind where all memories are stored.

During the twentieth century interest in Hypnosis heightened as its numerous application in mind and body healing  were again rediscovered and recognized. Neuro-psychological research demonstrated the power  and benefit of autosuggestion in healing. With solid scientific research confirming its benefits hypnosis is now  recognized  again world wide as a valid and safe healing modality that virtually anyone can experience.

Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation that is natural and safe. It is a state of mind between waking and sleeping where a person is conscious, aware of physical sensations and surroundings and yet much more receptive to therapeutic suggestions. Hypnotherapy is very effective in that during this altered state the conscious mind has greater support from the subconscious in a relaxed positive mind space . During this supportive altered state unwanted habits, emotional dis-stresses and other negative thought patterns can safely be explored and cleared. Once unwanted patterns are cleared the mind can then be recalibrated with positive new thought patterns for a successful happier outcome.

How Can Hypnotherapy Help ?

Hypnotherapy is well researched and is known to assist in improving the mind and body connection and can assist in many areas such as sport enhancement, mind motivation, physical, emotional and mental recalibration.

Some of the presented  issues clients have sought hypnotherapy for are "unwanted prolonged stress and tension, anxiety, smoking addiction, overeating, nail-biting, bed wetting, insomnia, phobias, tension headaches, self confidence, study and examination nerves, as well as many other life challenging related issues".

Hypnotherapy can also compliment other healing modalities to assist in speeding up the healing process. It's potential is limitless.

What Does it Feel Like ?

The general response is that during the hypnotherapy session the client feels very comfortable and very relaxed, some even drift into a light sleep. Clients often comment on how relaxed and at ease they were during the session. During hypnosis the client is normally conscious even though they are in an altered state and able to hear the hypnotherapist's voice. The client remains at all times in control, lucid in mind and clear of objectives just like watching an enjoyable movie.

The hypnotherapy session can be described as editing in 5d,  you are in charge in the editing room of the minds archives  of memories. During this controlled debrief unwanted thought patterns and memories  are reviewed safely, cleared or archived when necessary to restore clarity and balance.

Once the client's objectives are met, new updated positive ideas and suggestions are added to the subconscious for a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life ahead.

How Safe is Hypnosis ?

Modern Hypnotherapy is a very safe method of therapy. In hypnosis the client is always in control and cannot be made to say or do anything without consent. The altered state of mind during Hypnosis is natural and safe just like day dreaming. Clients can wake themselves up at any time that they wish. The hypnotic state is maintained by mutual cooperation between the client and the hypnotherapist.

How many sessions is recommended and how much does a  session cost ?

On average a minimum of three sessions is recommended to achieve the best results.

The first 75 mins consultation is $150 and the following sessions are $75 per half hour. I
